Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign... JOM Support!!!

August 2006 - It was 2 weeks after Danial was born that suddenly Mak Kimmy was admitted into HUKM. Apparently she had a fever but somehow her condition became worse within days until she couldn't get up from bed... she was dehydrated and her platlets count dropped significantly.. her diagnosis shows that she had breast cancer :(

Couple of years before that she had a small surgery to remove a lump from her breast... it was cancerous.. but no one knows until that day when she was admitted in HUKM.

It was about 5 days later when Arwah Mak Kimmy passed on.. she was 52, leaving behind her 3 kids and hubby.

March 2010 - It has been more than a year ever since Mak Long was diagnosed with breast cancer.. it all started lepas Arwah Mak Sabar meninggal 2 days before Hari Raya in year 2008. Her breast became itchy, swollen and developed a blister..

Mak Long mendapatkan rawatan di Hospital Pantai dan berjaya menjalani pembedahan to remove the affected breast. At first we were told that it will be risky for her to go through the surgery due to age factor + she had an accute asthma.

But weeks after the surgery Arwah Mak Long akhirnya pulang ke Rahmatullah dengan tenang sewaktu tidurnya..

Arwah Mak Kimmy and Arwah Mak Long are my dad's sisters... they both had breast cancer. Yes, I am at risk.. it gave me a chill up my spine everytime I heard someone who has cancer. In fact this is one of the main reason that I decided to wear Premium Beautiful. How exactly PB helps in terms of preventing cancer?? the facts are as follows:

1) Cancerous cells cannot exist if blood circulation is smooth and continous. A cancerous cell has to stop moving to proliferate. The cancerous cell's positioned itself by going through the capillaries. Good blood circulation of the capillaries - without functional disorder would leave no way for the cancerous cell to settle down and positioned itself. The cell will then be killed by immunocyte.

2) The cancerous cell has a weakness - heat. It will die if the temperature goes above 42C/107.6F .. FIR treatment raises body temperature to 42 degree C.
