Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign... JOM Support!!!

August 2006 - It was 2 weeks after Danial was born that suddenly Mak Kimmy was admitted into HUKM. Apparently she had a fever but somehow her condition became worse within days until she couldn't get up from bed... she was dehydrated and her platlets count dropped significantly.. her diagnosis shows that she had breast cancer :(

Couple of years before that she had a small surgery to remove a lump from her breast... it was cancerous.. but no one knows until that day when she was admitted in HUKM.

It was about 5 days later when Arwah Mak Kimmy passed on.. she was 52, leaving behind her 3 kids and hubby.

March 2010 - It has been more than a year ever since Mak Long was diagnosed with breast cancer.. it all started lepas Arwah Mak Sabar meninggal 2 days before Hari Raya in year 2008. Her breast became itchy, swollen and developed a blister..

Mak Long mendapatkan rawatan di Hospital Pantai dan berjaya menjalani pembedahan to remove the affected breast. At first we were told that it will be risky for her to go through the surgery due to age factor + she had an accute asthma.

But weeks after the surgery Arwah Mak Long akhirnya pulang ke Rahmatullah dengan tenang sewaktu tidurnya..

Arwah Mak Kimmy and Arwah Mak Long are my dad's sisters... they both had breast cancer. Yes, I am at risk.. it gave me a chill up my spine everytime I heard someone who has cancer. In fact this is one of the main reason that I decided to wear Premium Beautiful. How exactly PB helps in terms of preventing cancer?? the facts are as follows:

Bila Cincin Kembali Tersarung Ke Jari Manis

Ewahhh...finally aku dah boleh pakai balik cincin kahwin, cakpong, cakpong!! Lebih2 lagi esok aku nye anniversary yang ke-8 :) Happy Anniversary my dear hubby :))

Last aku dapat sarungkan cincin kahwin ke jariku adalah lebih 5 tahun yang lepas.. that was the time when I was pregnant with Danial. Lil' did I realized that I won't be able to wear it back later on :( ye.. mesti u ols pelik kan, ape kes minah ni naik badan sampai jari pon jadi gemuks? hehe.. but seriously when I put on weight last time actually the weight distribution was all over! kasut pon jadi one size bigger tau... konon2 balance la hehe..

Ada beberapa orang kenalan yang baru mengenali aku dalam tempoh 5 tahun kebelakangan ini pernah bertanya - kurus sgt ke ko dulu?? hehe... aku mmg ada jawapan standard utk soklan2 camni.. selalunya aku jawab - dulu aku pakai baju size 'S' skang 'XXL'.. so go figure :)

Yang paling lawak, Fadh yg penah kenal aku masa dulu2 simplified my transition as being from 'jari kelingking' to 'ibu jari'! hehe..

My Battle Against Weight Loss

Salam all.. as of to date I've finally loss 10kg ever since I've started my diet program in April 2011. Alhamdulillah, it's been quite a journey n I shall continue until I reach my ultimate dream weight before November 2011 i.e Hafiz's wedding :-)

My whole life ever since I was a kid I was just a petite girl.. it never crossed my mind that I'm gonna have a weight issue until the reality hits me after Danial was born. In fact it wasn't so bad as I just hv the slight problem to get rid of extra 5kg after the confinement.. I thought the weight eventually will go away if I just put the extra effort in watching what I eat and light exercise.. But I was wrong... losing the extra 5kg was not that easy but to gain an extra kilos could just take days!! Talking about slow metabolic rate as you age.. huhuhu.. There was this one year during Ramadhan that I targeted to lose weight.. which I did lose 3kg but only to gain it back after 3 days Raya!!! Giler ape...

Year 2008-2009 was the year that I struggled to get pregnant again.. after months of trying, I decided to go to my gynea for help. Getting pregnant is not exactly my 'forte' cos' I have an irregular menses and my blood test showed that I have an extremely low level of progesterone hormone :-( I went through a whole year of hormonal treatment + 2 times IUI but all chances to conceive the second baby failed... the worst part is that the hormonal treatment makes me to gain more weight like nobody's biz!

The idea of dieting n to lose weight was never in my diary before, hence when I started to put on kilos the reality hit me really hard. I was a small eater, but once in a blue moon I do have cravings for ice-cream or chocolates.. we are all women, how can we live without those right :-) As of exercising, mmg tak rajin la sgt although I used to be very active in sports before but enough said, after getting married n having children there goes my sports activities.

Over the last couple of years I've tried many attempts to lose weight but it all failed.. diet, exercising, joining gym, Jus Mate 5 (yup, even tried this before.. but d**n it doesn't work at all) n the most I would lose was only 3kg! then the weight loss just stop n i gave up.. then without long the 3kg started to gain back :-( So starting this year, determine than ever I decided to lose weight.. no matter what it takes. I'm done being uncomfortable n hate the way I look in photos. Someone introduced me to De Bella Litchin and based on her benchmarked progress I wanted to give it a try (she lose 7kg in 2 months). Guess what?? I glad i tried it out... i lost 5kg in 20 days!!! yup.. my biggest achievement ever.. n I even dropped 1 dress size :-) Best part is that I didn't feel hungry although I did lost my appetite at the beginning.. continue with normal diet but cutting down on carbs... n i felt more energetic than ever! However the weight loss started to slow down but still I continue to loss on gradual basis.

After the weight loss, i have a lot of 'sagging' parts on my body and started to do daily sits up (two sets of 30 sits up) hoping to shape up.. but of course I couldn't see the result fast. Until someone introduced me to Premium Beautiful corset (thank you Aishah and Kak Lily for opened up my horizon). Within 4 days on PB, I'ved lost 2kg and the best part is dear hubby started to compliment on how good I look since I've got back my curve and started to fit nicely in dresses.. sukeeeee :)

If the product is good (as it does wonder in me) and by sharing the goodness can help me to sustain our living and at the same time a chance to be at home for my lil' ones, pursue my passion and thus helping dear hubby financially to provide the needs for our kid(s) current and future expenses... then a BIG WHY NOT?

Not everyone marries a millionaire. If you are, syukur alhamdulillah :-) .. to live in KL comfortably is... challenging! We may be able to sustain day by day expenses but what about future savings? Kids education fund? Me and dear hubby may be lucky to have educational sponsorships then but can we rely on that in future? It's about time that we strive to provide our own rather than hoping for hands down... and how about retirement fund? financial freedom once you reach 40, 50 years age?

Many whom knew me well would probably be shocked (as i shocked myself) why I agree to join the biz. After learning the biz plan and opportunity that it leads to.. I'll be a complete fool as to let it pass. Someone wise told me - 'Opportunity doesn't comes often' and that I really buy.. Yes, I have a dream biz of my own.. but realizing that with the current pace and earnings in the corporate world I may not be realizing this dream anytime sooner. But with this biz that I venture into insyaAllah soon I will be having the capital to pursue that as oppose of slogging 10-12 hours in the office (plus extra hours during the weekends) for a fixed take home salary.

There must be something in the biz that is attracting scores of professionals now - doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountants. Yes, it deals with Superbrands product backed by multi award winning (including Forbes) company and as I said a chance to generate income for greater savings. Everyone must have dreams or goals in life. Current jobs may not help to realize those dreams. And if there's a way to do it, then it's only right to pursue that path.

Like any other job, we must work towards it. Not a quick scheme. We have to be diligent. It is fair... what we work for, we get the results. You set it, you determine it.. sky is the limit! Unlike in corporate world, the word 'fair' is very subjective. There are many factors that become the constraint which limit us from achieving what we have work for i.e competition, favouritism, quota, force-ranking, etc. Someone told me about how being in this biz require sacrifices.. well frankly I don't see it as sacrifices.. in fact it's willingness.. I've been working real hard for the past 8 years.. going through the ups and downs, blood and tears (oh i'm just exaggerating on the 'blood' part hehe..) yes, it comes with promotions..yet another responsibilities.. Nonetheless I'm not even 50% close in earning 5 figure income :-( with all the intentions and dreams to be realized, I know that I have to iniatiate a step to improve this situation and I have to do it fast. Furthermore with only 12 months roadmap to achieve to the top (I know it is possible..) this is just a blink of eye as compared to 8 years period that was already down the memory lane.

Another plus factor as my biz partner rightly said it - "this dream is more than money, or time, or freedom; it's a way of life.. change our life to make others' life meaningful as well" - isn't that right?? :-) My partner has a noble intention and dream and that is to setup a tahfiz school one day. This makes me work harder to help her realize that dream! Somehow it makes me realize how short life could be.. since Ramadhan started I've been surrounded with sad news about others' losses - father, mother, spouse, uncle, aunty, sister... Ajal comes at any age. It makes us who are still breathing to wonder, how full is our bucket when our time is up?

This biz even helps the lower income group, single parent to provide better for their charges. It's a chance to reduce the gap in our income inequalities. Not everyone has business charm like Branson or as tactful as Buffet. But a biz like this helps to bring out the enterpreneurship in just about everyone. Like what Tony Fernandez fav. quote - Now Everyone Can Fly! .. instead 'Now Everyone Can Do Biz!'

If you think that this biz is beneath you, then syukur alhamdulillah you must have something that is working very well for you. For most, this is a golden opportunity to help them live and provide better for their loved ones in this capitalist world.

The Lunch Date That Change My Future

So, what makes me choose PB? Al-kisah bermula bila my ex-boss's wife Kak Lily Jasmin pm me at fb asking if I would like for a free consultation about the product. PB is not something new, in fact Aishah already introduced it to me around November 2010 cuma masa tu belum sampai 'seru' to really want to have it. So when Kak Lily asked me for lunch last month, I decided to meet her up cos' the first thing that came into my mind is that - I wonder if she's selling PB, how can he turnaround Amar (her hubby i.e my ex-boss)?? Amar is not only my ex-boss but he's also a friend of mine.. knowing him n how cynic he can be, it makes me wonder how can Kak Lily could venture into this biz.. I'm not really close to Kak Lily cos' she just happened to be a good friend of Kak Dilla n we met few times on several occasion.

When we met up, Kak Lily looks good than ever! She's a housewife n quit her high-profile corporate job in one of the mobile Telco after her 3rd born baby.. and that was 9 months ago. She loves kids very much and hoping to run her own montessori and childcare centre. But of course she needs capital to do that.. n it's a lot! After months of staying at home, and when the household expenses has shifted 100% on the husband... it's not gonna be easy and definitely money become and issue. Nak dijadikan kisah and sudah ketentuan Allah SWT, Kak Lily's ex-staff i.e Alfaath was the husband to one of the top CDM of Premium Beautiful - Salha Zain . Kak Lily did share Salha's website earlier and indeed Salha's achievement is something that I would say - it's just too good to be true :) call me cynic, but yea.. that was my perception at the beginning.

Back to Salha.. masa jumpa tu my impression was, she is soooooo down to earth kind of person! and i just developed instant liking on her.. maybe the fact that both Salha and Kak Lily are not sales person! there are just merely sharing their experience with PB :) Salha was a banker before and she quit her job to raise her kids last couple of years.. how she struggle back then and look at how the biz transformed her today makes me realized that this is an opportunity that I've been waiting for.. it's right before my eye, and I know I can do this! Cos' I've been looking for avenue for me to have an 'early retirement' and to pursue my hobby/dreams.. it's just that I couldnt see the light at the end of the tunnel before this.. and with endless commitments I dont think leaving my current job is an option! giler ke nak berhenti kerja, kalau hutang keliling pinggang belum abis bayar!

So I did my risk assessment... throw it to Kak Lily and Salha with all the possibilities of 'what if' scenarios.. and they answered it, in which I found logical, acceptable and convincing. From risk point of view once you identified possible risks and addressed it.. the likelihood and impact of the risks will be reduced... so kenapa nak takut? sume2 benda pon ada risks.. but if u know how to address n mitigate it, x jadi risk la lagi :) So, I go home, explained to my hubby n managed to get his buy-in. Oh, btw my hubby yg 2x5 like Amar pon boleh turnaround :)) !

Below are the strong points why I decided to embark into this biz:

I just noted that they won yearly Forbes awards since 2006! (uish company aku yg gah tu pon x penah menang Forbes award huhuhu). So as far as the company's going concern, insyaAllah it's not like they are $2 company that could easily 'bungkus' tomorrow.

The team dynamics and biz strategies - All i can say is that on top of the strong product and company behind it, I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to be part of the most highly effective team who generates almost 70% of total PB sales! how do we do it? superb strategies and team dynamic ;) Like what our top CDM - Kak Ana said, "product sama, company sama, tapi kepimpinan berbeza"... it's true and proven :) we have strategist, motivators, doctors and professionals in the group that continuously support each other no matter what... the spirit is too strong that it easily lifted one person spirit without giving you the chance to be down! And i believe this is the root of all success cos' someone wise told me - manusia ni takde yang malas, but they just lack of motivation.. dont u agree??

Me, Weight Loss and Premium Beautiful

Personally after about 7 months into the year, 2011 has been quite a great year so far.. well not all great of course but I decided to leave all the sad stories n bad experience behind and move forward towards achieving my dreams :) Barang lepas buat apa nak dikenang, ye dak? Move on gurl..

One of the biggest achievement by far is my journey towards achieving my pre-wed body/weight :)) Hehe.. yup I've been struggling with the excess weight after gave birth to Danial... actually not so bad lepas bersalin tu but months and years later I did gained A LOT especially in 2009 during my hormonal treatment to conceive the second baby :( after months on Clomid and twice IUI, all failed.. and i decided to give my body a rest and 2010 was a year of detoxification from those drugs that I took earlier.. It was quite an experience (not so nice one though) n I hope I dont have to go through those process again!

Byk kali gak aku cuba loss weight last time.. most of the time guna kaedah traditional i.e bersenam dan diet.. unfortunately it took 1 month to loss 3kg! that includes abstained myself from rice.. after 3kg tu mula la the weight loss process will drag n slowww down. Stress!! Until this year bila K.Ilya from my office start taking De Bella Litchin n she loss 7kg in 2 months! Wow, aku pon rasa teruja nak cuba... before this I've tried Jus Mate tp mmg sia2 je... Jus Mate is a food replacement n it makes me hungry!!! tp berbeza dgn Litchin, it's like a supplement that one have to take before breakfast, dinner n right before bed.. rule of thumb, kena minum air yg byk.. i'm talking abt 4-5liter each day. And guess what?? after 20 days on Litchin, I've loss 5kg and drop 1 dress size :D YEAYYY!!! Mau nye x happy...

So since April until to date my total weight loss is 9kg... but I've stop Litchin n now start wearing Premium Beautiful corset instead to continue the weight loss until I reach my ultimate goal! Cos' I've spent about RM1k already on Litchin n will definitely need to continue buying until I reach my dream weight.. tapi with PB, i realized that it's one time investment that (1) still promotes weight loss, (2) help me to shape up after losing all the weight before and (3) regulates blood circulation n promotes health<-- hoping it could indirectly increase my chance of getting pregnant again, naturally :)

Within 4 days by just wearing the waist nipper alone (before I got my full set) I've dropped extra 2kg! This is amazing... And for the first time ever, dear hubby start asking how much I've lost, and puji how curvy I am getting! Hehehe.. uish I was in cloud nine.. bukan senang dear hubby nak puji tau... :)) Walhal before ni dah byk gak loss especially when i drastically loss 5kg in 20 days.. friends n family members dah tegur tp hubby buat dek je.. In fact hubby siap tanya bila nak pakai full set PB! wah.. dia plak yg lebih kan.. but i notice that in just few days mmg ketara perubahan pada badan... more shapey n potongan lebih kemas.. now i know how the product really worth after paying so much!

A New Step... My New Beginning

Who am I?? Im just a plain working wife, n a mom to a 5 year old boy. A certified internal auditor in one of the GLC, who decided to make a leap in her life after yearssss of hardwork, blood n tears of contributing to the corporate world.

This is it.. after years of looking, finding, I've finally ventured into enterpreneurship! yezza.. although i've started off few years back with my cupcakes biz (deliena cupcakes), it was just a small venture. Too bad the biz has to be put on halt for the time being despite of the encouraging demand and all... to bake n decor the cupcakes require the time.. n I have to say that without a helper around, I don't dare to take any order especially when I'm still working full time and was promoted recently = more responsibilities!

Tapi setelah berjumpa dengan peluang kali ni, I will grab it and raise to the challenge :) Nak tau biz apa?? kalau orang tanya aku cakap je jual baju dalam ehehe... tapi percaya lah ni bukan sekadar baju dalam biasa tapi corset kesihatan dan kecantikan.. apa lagi kalau bukan Premium Beautiful :) Apa itu PB? Kenapa PB? I'm sure byk burning questions inside ur head right?? Ape hal plak me - an auditor with accounting background with a steady job n definite future career path suddenly nak become marketeer ye tak? What she's been thinking??

Hehe.. definitely I've done my homework.. perform my risk assessment (ehem2.. being an auditor of course this is the 1st thing that came into my mind) thinking it deep n thorough for 2 solid sleepless nites (seriously!) and YES I've finally decided to grab this opportunity and work my way up in 12 months time :) yupp.. u read me right.. just 12 months.. 12 months roadmap is all that it takes, insyaAllah :)
